We are working with a leading construction business, we're seeking a diligent and experienced Health and Safety Manager to join them. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining our health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulations and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and implement comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures tailored to the construction industry.
* Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement corrective measures.
* Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols, promoting a culture of safety awareness and compliance.
* Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to address safety concerns and facilitate continuous improvement initiatives.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of health and safety regulations and industry standards, ensuring adherence at all times.
Qualifications:
* Proven experience as a Health and Safety Manager in the construction industry.
* In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations and standards relevant to construction sites.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
* Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH or IOSH are highly desirable.
