Health and Safety Manager
Location: Outskirts of Scarborough
Contract: Full time, Permanent
Salary: From £45,000 (Depending on experience)
Our client is a leading manufacturing company dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of safety and well-being for their employees. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health and Safety Manager to join our client’s dynamic team and ensure the workplace meets all regulatory and compliance standards.
Main responsibilities:
* Develop, implement and manage comprehensive health and safety policies and procedures
* Help close out compliance Audit Non – conformances for the site
* Provide training and education programmes for employers on health and safety practices
* Daily site inspections to check policies and procedures
* Investigate and report any accidents and develop corrective action plans
* Keep up to date with any new legislations
Key skills and qualifications:
* Professional qualifications and certifications such as NEBOSH and various ISO accreditations
* Minimum of 3 years manufacturing experience in a health and safety role
* Excellent communication skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* In depth knowledge of health and safety legislation
