Health and Safety Manager
Sheffield- with some site travel across the UK
£350 per day (outside IR35)
Irwin and Colton have been engaged by a specialist technology organisation who work closely across the Energy Sector. The organisation is looking to bring on board an experienced Health & Safety Manager to assist them with their business compliance, whilst also maintaining a site presence to promote a positive health and safety culture.
Responsibilities of the Health & Safety Manager will include:
Partnering with heads of departments to ensure projects are compliant with company procedures and processes
Ensure that the organisation's RAMs, and other health and safety documents are up to date and suitable for relevant projects
Undertaking audits and inspections, reporting on the findings, and making recommendations for improvements
Being a central point of contact for Health and Safety across the organisation and for the company's clientsThe successful Health and Safety Manager will have:
Proven Health and Safety experince within the Energy / Power generation sector, Construction or other related industry
A NEBOSH or NCRQ Certificate and ideally GradIOSH status and experience.
Effective communication skills - both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with a range of clients and stakeholders
