Role – Health and Safety advisor role
Location –Based close to Downham Market, Norfolk
Working hours – Monday to Friday – 40 hours per week
Salary – £40,000 - £45,000 per annum
Capacity of role - Permanent position
Our client is an established organisation who is going through a significant time of growth at the moment.
They are looking to recruit for a Health and Safety Advisor to join their team. Applicants will need to be proficient in delivering and developing onsite policies.
Main duties will include –
To maintain, adapt and implement the businesses health and safety policies across the organisation.
Conducting site inspections onsite
To act as the organisation’s lead competent person for health and safety as defined by the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations
To ensure the organisation complies with current health and safety legislation approved codes of practice and guidance.
To work proactively with managers to establish and maintain a system that promotes a culture of safe working practices across the organisation.
Candidate attributes -
Excellent written and interpersonal skills and the ability to challenge constructively.
Effective team working and networking skills and the ability to work independently using own initiative.
A relevant professional qualification e.g. IOSH/NEBOSH Diploma.
The ability to plan, prioritise and organise own workload.
