Description:
Escape Recruitment are working with a growing, exciting manufacturing client in North Ayrshire to recruit for a Health and Safety Advisor role (COMAH experience required). This role would be for an 18-month contract period.
The role:
Develop, review, maintain, update health and safety policy procedures and documents in line with COMAH regulations.
Work closely with manufacturing and engineering teams as well as technical managers and operational staff to ensure safety cases and COMAH reports are compliant with regulations and standards
Reporting and safe response to unsafe conditions or acts in accordance with policies and procedures
Ensure a workforce engagement process for safety cases and COMAH safety report updates including review and feedback timescales.
About you:
Experience of top tier COMAH sites and competent authorities
Understanding of COMAH regulations including DSEAR
Effective communicator with the ability influence
