Health and Safety Advisor | Reading with travel | £45-50K + car allowance
Great opportunity for a Health & Safety Advisor to join a business specialising in the planning, development, and operation of solar projects. You will be responsible for providing Health & Safety project support across all aspects of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) operations. Your time will be split between sites, office and home, working on a flexible, hybrid basis to meet the operational needs of the business.
Key responsibilities include:
* Development of Health & Safety Plans and Inspection and Prevention Procedures
* Plan and organise, activities, documents, and meetings related to EPC HSE and the EPC Integrated Management System.
* Audits, inspections, reports, certifications, permits, training, etc.
* Database maintenance on health & safety accidents and their treatment
* Participation in safety meetings and in the coordination of work safety
* Prepare and conduct HSE presentations, training, and awareness sessions for EPC employees.
* Conducting safety inspections on-site and legal compliance in Health and Safety at Work in accordance with applicable specifications and standards
* Verification and technical support to EPC Managers, EPC Site Technical Leads, EPC Site Technician, EPC Coordinators, EPC Technicians and EPC Site Specialist.
* Develop RAMS for works and review the subcontractor’s RAMS and HSE documentation.
The ideal candidate will hold:
* NEBOSH General or NEBOSH Construction (minimum)
* Good knowledge of ISO 45001 and IS(phone number removed)
* Relevant industry experience and transferrable skills
* Full driving licence and be willing to travel
