Principal People are currently recruiting for an H&S Advisor to join a well-established construction organisation on a 2 year contract working on a high profile project for a prestigious client of theirs.
The successful candidate will support the Health and Safety for our client’s project team to maintain a compliant and positive health and safety culture on site, undertake daily safety briefings, basic health and safety site inspections, checking RAMS and liaison with the site manager and other project teams. This role is ideal for someone who has achieved their NEBOSH Certification and is looking to step into a health and safety career with a construction background or someone who already holds experience within the health and safety sector and has exposure to construction environments.
This is to pay the successful contractor a daily rate of £(Apply online only)/day
The H&S Advisor will hold:
NEBOSH General Certificate or Equivalent
Hold the SMSTS 5 day course certificate
Have experience working within the construction industry - general building environments is sufficient
Be happy to work a single site role on a 2 year contract basis
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Be an engaging, communicative individual able to liaise at all levels.
