Head Teacher Job Description:

We are seeking an inspirational and dynamic Head Teacher to lead our school with vision, passion, and dedication. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and leadership of the school, ensuring the highest standards of education, welfare, and professional development for both students and staff.

Head Teacher Key Responsibilities:

Provide strategic leadership and direction to the school, aligning with our mission and values.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality teaching and learning experiences.
Foster a positive and inclusive school culture that promotes student well-being and academic achievement.
Oversee the recruitment, development, and performance of staff, encouraging continuous professional growth.
Manage school resources effectively and efficiently, ensuring financial stability and sustainability.
Engage with parents, carers, and the wider community to build strong, supportive relationships.
Lead the school in meeting and exceeding educational standards and regulatory requirements.
Promote innovation in curriculum design and extracurricular activities to enhance student engagement and outcomes.
Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Education or a related field.
Significant experience in a senior leadership role within an educational setting.
Proven track record of driving educational improvement and raising standards.
Strong understanding of current educational policies, practices, and legislation.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to inspire and motivate students, staff, and the wider school community.
Demonstrated commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Have the right to work in the UK.
Have an up-to-date CV with two relevant references from within the last 2 years.
Have a DBS registered to the update service or be happy to apply for one with GSL Education
