The Role:
As Head of Year, you will play a crucial role in supporting the wellbeing, behaviour, and academic progress of students within your allocated year group. Working closely with senior leaders, teaching staff, and parents, you will ensure that every student feels supported, safe, and empowered to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:

Lead the pastoral provision for an assigned year group

Support students with behaviour, attendance, and welfare concerns
*
Build positive and professional relationships with parents/carers

Work collaboratively with safeguarding leads and external agencies
*
Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise attainment

Oversee tutor teams and contribute to whole-school initiatives

Requirements:

Experience in a pastoral, behaviour, or student support role within a school setting

Strong understanding of safeguarding, wellbeing, and behaviour management
