Prospero Teaching are working with a secondary school in Wigan who wish to appoint a full-time Head of Year to join a strong and highly supportive pastoral team. The person appointed will be responsible for Year 9.

The successful applicant will be joining the school at an exciting and significant time. In October 2023, the school moved into a brand-new building. The appointed person will be working team in state-of-the-art facilities.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Previous experience working in a UK school is desirable
Previous experience working in a leadership role is desirable
Degree is desirable
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
Up to date Prevent training issued in the last yearTO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST:

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
