BUILD YOUR OWN U.S PROPERTY TEAM
We are an established specialist Lloyd's broker with a fast-growing portfolio of large US and international wholesale business. We focus on placing complex risks, primarily in financial lines and cyber.
We are expanding into wholesale property insurance, and we are looking for a permanent full-time Head of US & International Property to lead a new team. This role will report directly to the CEO.
The role is London-based and will require extensive travel. The successful candidate will have at least seven years' experience in the Lloyd's and US insurance markets and will have a comprehensive knowledge of US property placements.
Key activities and responsibilities include:
Broking and producing complex US and international property insurance and reinsurance.
Developing, identifying and building relationships with US retail brokers to grow our US property business.
Working with the senior management team to drive strategy.
Travelling internationally to meet with producing brokers and clients to generate new business, enhance existing relationships and build a sales pipeline.
Building and managing a team.
Required skills and qualifications:
A minimum of seven years-plus of proven experience as a producing and placing broker in the US property market. It would be desirable to have some international insurance and reinsurance experience too.
Strong relationships with all key underwriters in the relevant sectors.
Excellent product knowledge.
Proven track record of establishing and building relationships with independent producers.
Experience of managing other employees.
