We are recruiting for a brand new role for a Head of Supply Chain and we are looking for you to have come from a retail background based in Leicester

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to optimise supply chain operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs

Oversee the entire supply chain cycle, from procurement to distribution, ensuring accurate tracking, timely delivery, and effective inventory management

Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to forecast demand, identify potential risks, and develop contingency plans

Continuously monitor and analyse supply chain performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing supply chain team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountability

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Supply Chain Manager or similar role within the retail industry

In-depth knowledge of supply chain processes, including procurement, demand planning, logistics, and inventory management

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make data-driven decisions

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with a track record of building and managing cross-functional teams

Familiarity with supply chain management software and tools, including ERP systems
