The Role:

Full-time Head of Science position
September 2026 start
Leading and managing the Science department across KS3 and KS4
Responsibility for curriculum development, attainment and staff support
Opportunity to teach Biology, Chemistry or Physics specialism
Permanent leadership opportunity

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds UK QTS and relevant teaching qualifications
Proven experience teaching Science at secondary level
Previous middle leadership experience desirable
Strong leadership and organisational skills
Passionate about raising standards and student achievement
Ability to motivate, support and develop teaching staff
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
