As Head of Sales Excellence, you will be a vital contributor to our sales team's success by providing the tools, resources, processes and training needed to empower our sales team. Your role will focus on enhancing the efficiency and effectiveness of our sales processes, ensuring alignment between Sales and Marketing efforts, while working closely with Product and Finance, and fostering continuous learning and development within the sales organization. As Head of Sales Excellence, you will facilitate the ongoing success of the Sales, Account Management and CS teams through key area and across multiple platforms, with an increasing focus on supporting us in our international expansion ambitions.
You will contribute to all parts of the Sales Excellence program, including needs assessments, designing content and materials, and presenting Instructor lead sessions. You will dive into the weeds of the sales team, constantly reviewing data to understand the opportunities to improve, reviewing rate cards, commission models and new market expansion. They will conduct research to continually upgrade the existing program and provide support, guidance, and training opportunities for a world-class Sales team. This position will report to the Chief Revenue Officer.
* Support on the develop and execution Go-To-Market plans and setting targets by sector / team, to ensure strategic and tactical execution.
* Developing and maintaining sales outreach and education assets and channels, as well as conceiving and administering activities to support the Sales teams as they engage prospects and customers along the buyers' journey.
* Understand the end-to-end sales process and constantly review for opportunities to remove friction through tools or best practice improvements.
* Experience in overseeing CRM systems and ideally implementation and technology improvement (Microsoft Dynamics a plus)
* Support in delivery of new systems, processes, products, and services, as well as sales performance initiatives and deliver communications and adoption plans across all the sales teams.
* Charged with monitoring and tracking of all KPI activity, whilst driving implementation of sales behaviour and strategy.
* Work with Sales Leaders and Finance to review rate cards, deal terms and commission models.
* To review the strategy and proposed approach to the market, making recommendations for improvement / change, backed with data and insights.
* Working closely with all teams across the business to define and drive specific product enhancements and new product opportunities, to delivery growth.
* Responsible for delivering key projects and initiatives that improve the sales process, increase team efficiency and drive sales excellence.
* To drive innovation across the whole category of recruitment solutions.
* Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize performance and resource allocation.
* Provide insightful reports on sales performance and market trends.
Requirements
* Proven track record of surpassing sales targets personally and through leadership.
* Strong knowledge of software sales cycles and consultative selling techniques.
* Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
* Self-motivated and goal-driven mindset with a passion for technology.
* Proven experience in sales enablement, operations and training, or a related field.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
* Proficiency in using sales enablement tools, CRM systems (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics, LinkedIn, Hubspot, etc.), and other relevant technologies.
* Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and metrics to drive informed decisions.
* Project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
* Collaborative and team-oriented, with the ability to build strong working relationships across departments.
* Creative problem solver with an initiative-taking and adaptable approach to challenges.
* Results-driven with a passion for enhancing sales team performance and contributing to overall company growth.
Technical Skills:
* Technical acumen and understanding of software development concepts.
* Proficiency in data analytics tools and techniques.
* Experience in leading teams through organizational changes.
* Innovation-driven mindset, embracing emerging technologies.
