Position: Head of Sales & New Business
Job Type: Full-time
Location: Harrow - Remote/Hybrid DOL
Pay: £53,000.00-£65,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday

Position Overview:
Reporting to the Operations Director and Managing Director, the Head of Sales & New Business will drive sales to achieve substantial revenue growth aligned with strategic objectives. Responsibilities include designing and implementing business development strategies, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting existing clients with service plans.
 
Key Responsibilities:
§Ensure sales growth, consistently exceeding annual targets.
§Identify new market opportunities and development areas.
§Develop and implement sales initiatives to foster growth and maintain competitiveness.
§Analyse sales procedures, methods, costs, and results for continuous improvement.
§Provide leadership and support to the sales team.
§Manage and develop the sales team, ensuring high-performance standards.
§Conduct regular sales meetings to monitor pipelines and business opportunities.
§Recruit, train, and appraise sales staff.
§Develop departmental objectives, policies, and operating procedures.
§Oversee client relationships and monitor service quality.
§Develop and deliver proposals and presentations.
§Supervise marketing and communications materials.
§Assist in tenders for new business.
§Attend relevant seminars, conferences, and events.
§Present departmental performance and business pipelines to the Board.
Skills & Qualifications:
§Minimum 5+ years managing a sales team.
§Strong people management and development skills.
§Knowledge of collections industry and regulatory requirements preferred.
§Strong strategic thinking and selling ability.
§Proven track record in implementing successful sales strategies.
§Ambitious, driven, and self-motivated with strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
§Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
§Creative mindset to assess market trends and opportunities.
§Flexibility to travel across the UK as needed.
