Head of Risk Management and Clinical Governance – Full time – Competitive Salary – Crowborough
A leading hospital in the Crowborough area is seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead their Clinical Governance department in continuously improving their healthcare services.
This is a permanent role, offering a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package. The role will be primary based in the Crowborough site, with an opportunity to work across all sites
Role Responsibilities:
* Lead and develop the Clinical Governance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and patient safety
* Prepare clear and concise reports on clinical governance matters, presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership and committees
* Apply clinical expertise to performance monitoring, risk management, root cause analysis, and clinical audit activities.
Qualifications:
* Registered healthcare professional (GMC, HCPC, or NMC) with substantial experience in a senior clinical role within the healthcare sector
Skills Required:
* Good knowledge of CQC regulations and standards
* A proven track record in clinical risk management and quality improvement initiatives
* Excellent leadership skills with a proactive and approachable demeanour
