Head Of Quality

Description:

Stem Recruitment have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Senior Quality Manager to work for a leading global producer of closures for spirits, wine, edible oil, water and a wide range of other beverages. This role will be based near Glasgow and will be a perm position. This is a newly created opportunity to join the Quality department and lead the team that ensures that products, services, and processes meet or exceed the established standards and requirements to best service our customers.

Responsibilities

* Provide leadership on quality standards and practices

* Develop and improve the current quality management system to ensure products meet or exceed customer expectations.

* Establish and maintain quality control procedures, standards, and specifications for all manufacturing processes.

* Drive a high standard of root cause investigative practices and embed any lessons learned

* Ensure the factory's compliance with all relevant quality standards, conducting regular audits to identify and address non-compliance issues.

* Supporting the compliance manager with maintaining and improving the management systems.

Skills:

* Proven experience in a quality management role within a manufacturing environment

* Extensive knowledge of quality management systems and standards

* Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

* Analytical mindset and proficiency in data analysis tools.
