Description:
As the Head of Product, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the direction of our product. You will lead a team to drive the development and execution of our SaaS based product roadmap.
About you
* The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a strong communicator, and possesses a deep understanding of both technical and business aspects of product development.
* Preferably, you will possess a background in accountancy/finance software, enabling you to comprehend various transaction types and their functionalities within the product. Your expertise will allow you to assess the product's performance, identify areas for improvement, and ensure the seamless operation of transactional processes.
* You will have experience of managing the product lifecycle – from design to implementation.
* You will have full understanding of the SDLC.
* You will be a strong communicator who is comfortable dealing with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with stakeholders / channel partner to prioritise features and enhancements based on business goals and customer feedback.
* Define clear product requirements, specifications, and success metrics for new features and products.
* Work closely with engineering, design, and QA teams to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of product releases.
* Drive product innovation and differentiation through continuous improvement and iteration.
* Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess product performance and make data-driven decisions.
* Act as a product evangelist, effectively communicating product vision, strategy, and value proposition to internal teams, customers, and partners.
* Mentor and develop the team, fostering a culture of collaboration, creativity, and excellence.
* Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and competitive landscape.
* Develop and enforce best practices for version control and ensure that code changes are automatically built, tested, and deployed to production environments in a reliable and efficient manner.
