Head of Power
West Yorkshire | Competitive Salary + Package
A growing utilities and infrastructure contractor is seeking an experienced Head of Power to lead and develop its expanding electrical infrastructure division.
Operating across LV and HV power projects, the business delivers a range of network infrastructure works including substations, new connections, network reinforcement schemes and associated contestable works.
This is a key leadership appointment, offering the opportunity to shape the future of an established power division while building and developing a team capable of supporting continued growth.
Responsibilities
Lead the operational and commercial performance of the power division.
Oversee the delivery of LV and HV electrical infrastructure projects.
Manage 11kV and 33kV schemes, substation projects and network connections.
Provide technical leadership and support across the business.
Develop relationships with DNOs, ICPs, developers and key clients.
Support tendering, estimating and project pricing activities.
Identify opportunities for business growth and service expansion.
Build, mentor and develop operational and technical teams.
Ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.
Requirements
Proven experience within the power, utilities or electrical infrastructure sector.
Strong understanding of LV and HV networks.
Experience delivering 11kV and 33kV projects.
Knowledge of substations, contestable connections, ICP works and DNO requirements.
Strong commercial awareness with experience of pricing and project delivery.
Previous leadership or management experience.
Ability to combine technical expertise with strategic business growth.
