Description:

Key Accountabilities

* Ensure that all work carried out within is service user focused and upholds the principles of respect, privacy, dignity, fulfilment, independence and choice.
* To provide effective leadership, supervision and management of operational service senior staff ensuring that all services within the region are commercially and operationally viable, regulatory compliant, high quality, outcome focused, connected to their community and responsive to the individual needs of each person we support and their commissioning and multi-agency colleagues.
* To Establish and maintain accountability and responsibilities within services.
* To assist the Director of Care and Development with the development of projects, to include new services, assessments, development of costings, initial launch and management of those projects and their continued oversight and progression.
* To undertake frequent and regular service and management review and audit and to proactively participate in and contribute to organisational operational quality and governance.
* To be fully involved in the preparation of annual budgets. To monitor and make recommendations regarding adjustments to budgets via the accounts system and to manage designated services within the finance allocated. To oversee service managers' implementation and management of those budgets.
* To liaise appropriately with families, carers, other professional staff, voluntary bodies and community groups in the furtherance of the clients' needs and outcomes, service continuity and organisational growth and development.
* To participate in committees/working groups as appropriate to the duties of the post and to be an active participant in operational leadership activity across the organisation.
* To participate in the recruitment, induction and training of staff and to support the strong delivery of HR and associated quality and governance processes in services.

Requirements of the Role
* You will be required to participate in the company performance and staff review process.

* To carry out all duties of the post in accordance with rules, regulations and policies.
* To carry out additional duties of the role and all other required duties as and when necessary
* You will be required to participate in the Organisations on-call arrangements.

Skills & Competencies
A full valid driving licence on application and access to own transport on appointment
* If a disability precludes an individual from holding a driver's licence, it should be stated how they can meet the mobility requirement of the post.
The ability to work flexibly, to be responsive, adaptable, a team player and a self starter/ motivator

* Ability to make key medium level decisions within parameters already agreed with Director of Care and Development
* Can make decisions on people and budget activity within the scope of agreed budget
* Can put forward suggestions and recommendations to Project Managers regarding areas of improvements within scheme and suggest amendments to care plans in the best interest of service users.
* Can recommend concepts, changes and timelines to Directors of care and Development
