Head of Nursing required for a charitable organisation for their BRAND-NEW nursing and residential home. The home is transitioning from a residential into a nursing home the Head of Nursing will support the registered manager in the day-to-day operations of the residential and nursing home and will lead, deputise, and manage in their absence.
Head of Nursing Duties:
To oversee and lead nursing and residential units ensuring the environment is safe with appropriate staffing levels.
To support all aspects of nursing care demonstrating your clinical expertise utilising your managerial and leadership skills.
To be responsible for residents' welfare to provide them with a safe, relaxed homely environment.
To raise safeguarding concerns and ensure all policies are being adhered to.

Head of Nursing Requirements:
To have an active NMC pin
Minimum of 5 years of senior nursing experience
Ideally to have a level 4 in health and social care however is not essential.
To already work as a Head of Nursing, Clinical Lead, or Deputy Home Manager.
