The school is seeking a passionate and dedicated Head Math Teacher to join their team and bring it forward to new heights. The successful candidate will have a genuine enthusiasm for teaching, a strong command of the subject matter, and the ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse range of learners.
Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall improvement of the department.
Actively participate in extracurricular activities and contribute to the wider school community.
Qualifications:
A relevant degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Demonstrated experience as a Math Teacher at the secondary school level (experience at Sixth Form level is advantageous but not essential).
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
A commitment to ongoing professional development and a desire to stay current with educational best practices.
