Head of Maths Teacher

A Good Secondary School based in Haringey is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Maths Teacher to start ASAP.

Head of Maths Teacher

Here lies the opportunity to join not only a great school, but a very successful department. They are looking to appoint a talented and dynamic Head of Maths Teacher who will be responsible for teaching Maths to KS3 - KS5. You will be working alongside a large and very supportive team to work closely together to ensure that the children are given the opportunity to reach their own individual goals. With varying levels of experience within the department, both experienced Maths and Newly Qualified (ECT) Maths Teachers are welcomed to apply for this post.

To be considered for this Head of Maths role you must have:

As the Head of the Mathematics Department, you will lead and inspire our maths team, ensuring that all students receive outstanding teaching and support in line with curriculum standards. You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and assessing lessons at Key Stage 3 and 4 while fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge in mathematics at secondary level
- Ability to plan effective lessons tailored to diverse learner needs
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills with students, staff, and parents
- Willingness to develop leadership skills through training and mentoring
