Head of Infrastructure Services – Remote - £80,000 - £90,000

We’re partnered with one of the UK’s leading IT & Cloud Service Providers and due to further expansion of their service offerings they’re recruiting for a Head of Infrastructure Services. This role will have 6 sub teams focusing on IT Operations, Systems Engineering, Cloud Operations, Technical Account Management, Data Centres and Network Engineering.

The Head of Infrastructure Services is a pivotal role responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and maintenance of an organisation's IT infrastructure. The successful candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and leadership skills to ensure the company's infrastructure supports its current and future needs while adhering to best practices and security standards.

Duties -  Head of Infrastructure Services:

Strategic planning and definition of a technology road map
Assisting with IT infrastructure architecture
Ensuring all services are adhering to security and compliance standards
Evaluating and selection of vendors and management of contract negotiations
Essential Experience required - Head of Infrastructure Services:

Proven track record managing infrastructure / operations / engineering teams
Held a role of ‘Head of’ and having multiple sub teams reporting into them
Experience working within a IT Managed Service Provider and managing services being delivered to external customers
Proven experience in infrastructure design, implementation, and management
Passionate about technology and also staying abreast of technologies

Deep understanding of networking, server administration, virtualization, cloud computing, and other infrastructure technologies.
An analytical mind with the ability to analyse data and provide insights in order to maximise opportunities

This is a fully remote role with travel when needed to offices in Birmingham, London and York. Fantastic benefits package including 8% bonus and private medial insurance.
