Position: Head of House
Location: Farnborough, Hampshire
Start Date: September 2024
Type: Full-Time, Long-Term (Temp to Perm Transition)

Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for student welfare and leadership? Teaching Personnel is excited to announce an opening for a committed Head of House at a dynamic secondary school in Farnborough, starting in September 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a House, fostering a strong sense of community and belonging among students.
Support and mentor students across Key Stage 3 and 4, encouraging both academic and personal growth.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons, teaching a subject across the full age and attainment range.
Monitor and promote students’ well-being, providing guidance and support where needed.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement House activities and initiatives that enhance the school experience.
Oversee House events, competitions, and extracurricular activities to boost student engagement and achievement.
Who We Are Looking For:

Passionate teachers with leadership skills and a commitment to student welfare.
Both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) qualifying this year and unqualified teachers are encouraged to apply.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students and staff.
Excellent communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive school culture.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
