Lead Financial Excellence at a Senior Strategic Level

We are seeking an exceptional Head of Financial Services to provide strategic financial leadership within a large and complex organisation. This is a pivotal senior leadership role responsible for driving financial sustainability, strengthening governance, delivering transformational change, and leading a high-performing finance team

Reporting directly to the Director of Financial Services, you will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, influencing senior stakeholders, and ensuring robust financial management across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the development and delivery of financial strategy, medium-term financial planning, and budget setting.
Provide expert financial advice to senior leadership teams and key stakeholders to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee financial reporting, forecasting, risk management, and statutory compliance.
Drive continuous improvement, transformation programmes, and digital innovation across finance services.
Ensure robust financial controls, governance frameworks, and value-for-money initiatives are embedded throughout the organisation.
Lead, develop, and inspire a team of qualified finance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
Present financial reports and recommendations to senior leadership, boards, and committees.

About You

To be successful, you will possess:

A recognised CCAB accounting qualification with significant post-qualification experience.
Extensive experience in strategic financial leadership within a complex environment.
Strong knowledge of financial planning, accounting standards, governance, and regulatory compliance.
Demonstrable experience managing and developing high-performing finance teams.
Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and challenge at senior level.
A proven track record of delivering transformation, efficiencies, and improved financial performance.
