You will be working for a market leading specialty insurer who is ahead of the curve when it comes to innovation. In this newly created role, you will have oversight of a specialist team and function that is at the forefront of the industry.

Your new role
We are seeking a highly experienced and knowledgeable Financial Crime Compliance Manager to oversee the financial crime compliance and licensing activities. As the Money Laundering Reporting Officer (MLRO), you will work closely with the Boards, Executive Management Teams, and Senior Compliance Management Teams to manage and mitigate the risks associated with financial crime and licensing.
Key responsibilities include the production and delivery of financial crime, advisory, monitoring, and licensing activities, establishing and maintaining an effective governance and compliance control framework, and investigating and analysing any identified suspicious activity or sanctions breaches.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have extensive experience working in senior financial crime-related roles in the insurance industry with technical knowledge of financial crime and licensing matters. Proven and demonstrable success in developing financial crime compliance frameworks, experience advising on financial crime matters in a large, global and diverse organisation working across multiple product lines, and leadership and people management skills are essential.
If you have strong commercial skills, attention to detail, excellent due diligence and investigative skills, and strong analytical, problem-solving and written/report-writing skills, we encourage you to apply. Previous experience as an MLRO is also essential .
