Are you a dynamic and experienced finance professional looking for a rewarding leadership role? Z-Tech Control Systems is seeking a Head of Finance to lead and develop our finance team. As a key member of our management team, you will play a pivotal role in driving financial strategy and ensuring the continued success of our organisation.

Job Description:

• Leading and Developing the Finance Team: Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the finance team to ensure their professional growth and development.
• Review Management Accounts: Oversee the preparation and analysis of management accounts to support informed decision-making by senior management.
• Budgeting and Forecasting: Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes to support effective financial planning and resource allocation.
• Financial Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting in compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
• Statutory Accounts: Manage the preparation and submission of statutory accounts in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of financial operations.
• Project Involvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various projects to provide financial insights and support strategic initiatives.
• Senior Leadership Engagement: Engage with senior leadership to provide financial guidance and contribute to overall business strategy.

Skills Required:

• Strong Leadership and Management: Proven ability to lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
• Confidence in Reporting: Ability to compile and present complex financial information with clarity and confidence.
• Strong Logical and Analytical Background: Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Commercial Acumen: Demonstrated understanding of business operations and factors impacting performance, with a focus on identifying growth opportunities and maximising profitability
• Natural Leadership Qualities: Innate ability to inspire and motivate others towards achieving common goals.
• Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Effective communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications:

• ACA/ACCA/CIMA Qualified Accountant
