We are recruiting a Head of Infrastructure to join our trusted Senior Management team, and oversee and delegate all action related to EV infrastructure.

Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will provide strategic leadership and oversight of each element of programme planning, development and implementation, from receiving the initial enquiry from the sales team, through to the commissioning and servicing of infrastructure sites.

We are looking for an experienced and knowledgeable senior leader with extensive experience in managing infrastructure projects across multi-disciplinary teams. Alongside a competitive salary, an electric company car and enhanced benefits, this role offers the opportunity to work alongside the business founders in a pivotal role that will support the company's continued success and growth.

Role responsibilities:

* Develop and implement Energy Park’s infrastructure strategy, with a view to achieve our long-term business objectives.

* Provide strategic leadership to all infrastructure-focused teams, overseeing EV charging infrastructure projects from inception to completion.

* Use information and data, alongside your knowledge of the EV sector, to make strategic decisions on behalf of the business in relation to infrastructure projects.

* Engage with both sales and our infrastructure teams, ensuring timely and appropriate allocation of resources and capital.

* Liaise with internal teams, external contractors and providers, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of project objectives and priorities.

* Act as the go-to authority on all matters related to EV infrastructure site development, and provide technical guidance and expertise on infrastructure projects.

* Encourage project efficiency, and ensure infrastructure projects are completed on time and to budget.

* Support and oversee the development of tools and processes that aid communication and enable the business to easily monitor projects.

* Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards across all infrastructure projects.

* Implement best practices for the design, construction and maintenance of EV sites.

* Identify potential risks associated with infrastructure projects and develop mitigation strategies.

* Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and key partners and providers.

* Contribute to the growth of the business, identify and evaluate new opportunities.

Experience/qualifications required:

* Significant experience in infrastructure and project management, preferably EV charging infrastructure or similar.

* Qualified in either an electrical or engineering field (preferred but not essential).

* Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale infrastructure projects.

* Strong understanding of EV charging technologies and industry trends.

* Excellent leadership, team management and project management skills, able to foster collaboration between teams.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.

* Excellent communicator, confident and personable, able to represent the Energy Park brand with external stakeholders.

* Credible with both clients, technical colleagues, senior leadership and external agencies, able to build professional and valuable long-term working relationships.

* Experience of contributing to the strategy and growth of a business at a senior level is desirable.

* Analytical and commercial mindset, able to make informed and timely strategic decisions.

* UK driving licence and ability to travel.

* This role will also be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.

No agents, please. This role is being managed by our retained consultants at HRCentral
