The successful Achievement Director of Performing Arts will:

· Have strong experience teaching Drama and Performing Arts

· Be able to lead and manage the Drama department, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning

· Be dedicated to raising the achievement of all pupils through high standards and expectations

· Be able to work as part of a vibrant and energetic team

· Provide a positive and effective learning environment for all pupils

· Inspire, challenge and motivate learners across Years 7–13

· Promote the school ethos across the whole school

Key Requirements – Achievement Director of Performing Arts

· Experience teaching Drama / Performing Arts

· Experience in a Head of Department / Phase Leader capacity

· A passion and dedication for teaching and supporting young people

· Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships

· Strong leadership and organisational skills
