Job Purpose

This is a rare opportunity to play a pivotal leadership role during one of the most exciting periods in Raynor Foods’ history. As an ambitious employee-owned business investing heavily in technology, automation, AI and smarter ways of working, we are seeking an exceptional Head of Digital Transformation to lead the next phase of our digital evolution.

Reporting directly to the Managing Director and working alongside the Senior Leadership Team, you will shape and deliver a business-wide transformation agenda that improves how we operate, make decisions, serve customers and empower colleagues.

This role is about far more than technology. It is about using digital capabilities, data, automation and AI to transform business performance, create sustainable competitive advantage and leave a lasting legacy for the future.

We are entering one of the most significant periods of digital evolution in our history. This is a focused transformation assignment.

Months 1–6 will focus on delivering high-impact transformation projects, implementing automation and AI solutions and embedding change across the organisation.

Months 7–9 will focus on knowledge transfer, capability building, governance and ensuring the business can sustain momentum long after the contract concludes.

Success will not simply be measured by projects delivered, but by the capability and confidence left behind.

General Responsibilities

• Own and deliver Raynor Foods’ Digital Transformation Strategy.
• Create a clear roadmap aligned to growth and operational excellence.
• Lead high-impact digital, automation and AI programmes.
• Drive measurable productivity and efficiency improvements.
• Champion innovation whilst maintaining clear business value.
• Act as trusted adviser to the Managing Director and Senior Leadership Team.
• Build a digitally confident culture that embraces change.

Specific Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership
• Develop and own the digital transformation roadmap.
• Translate business priorities into practical programmes of change.
• Influence board and senior leadership decision making.

Business Transformation
• Lead transformation initiatives across all business functions.
• Redesign inefficient processes and remove manual activity.
• Deliver measurable operational and commercial benefits.

AI, Automation & Data
• Lead responsible AI adoption.
• Expand automation capability through Microsoft technologies.
• Improve reporting, data accessibility and decision-making.

Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead and mentor the internal development team.
• Establish governance and delivery disciplines.
• Deliver a structured knowledge transfer programme.

Skills & Experience

We are seeking a proven transformation leader with experience delivering measurable business change. You will bring strategic leadership, commercial judgement and practical delivery expertise.

Key expertise should include Microsoft 365, Copilot, Power Platform, Azure Data & AI technologies, business process redesign, change management, digital adoption and transformation leadership within fast-paced operational environments.
