The Head of DevOps will lead SAP & Non-SAP Development teams - this is a Managerial role.
Skills Experience Required:
DevOps - Managerial Level - Leading DevOps Teams - ideally SAP & Non-SAP Development teams.
Leading SAP ABAP programming - ABAP Objects, BAPIs & RFCs -Transports & Practices.
Leading SAP & Non-SAP Developers - leading design, implementation & maintenance.
Leadership - Coaching, mentoring SAP & Non-SAP Developers.
DevOps Principles - strong knowledge.
DevOps - implementing DevOps Best Practices - improve efficiency, reliability & scalability.
Developing & Implementing DevOps Strategies & Processes - streamline workflows.
Lead delivery & development Continuous Improvement - Tech Stack - Amazon Web Services (Mongo, Express, React & Node), SAP ABAP Development on SAP ECC6.
SAP Development Tools - ABAP Development Workbench, Eclipse ADT & SAP HANA Studio.
Public Cloud - AWS (ideally) & SAP Landscape awareness.
CI/CD - Implementing & managing CI/CD Pipelines.
Managing SAP Transports - coordinating with SAP BASIS teams - System Configuration & Release Management.
Ideally - experience with JavaScript, TypeScript & Node.js.
Ideally - knowledge of Python based platforms.
Conducting Code Reviews.
Application Roadmap - determine & maintain Short & Long-Range Application Roadmap.
Collaborating with Development, Operations & QA teams.
Managing Release Cycles.
Third Parties - partner with external IT/Tech providers.
Security Best Practices.
Agile Methodology - planning, prioritisation, resource management etc.
Analytical & Problem-Solving skills.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
Desirable Experience:
CI Jenkins, GitLab & CI/CD.
Operational Technology Processes & PLCs - Programmable Logic Controllers.
Legacy Lotus Domino platforms - migration from Legacy platforms.
