Description:
Head of Development - Development Manager. £100k - £115k + £6,780 Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Benefits Package. Hybrid Working - Flexible. Hampshire. Permanent. T6/MN/(phone number removed).
The Head of Development will lead a development team consisting of - Full Stack Developers, React / Angular / Vue, JavaScript, HTML/CSS, SQL, Mongo, AWS & SAP ABAP - this is a Managerial role.
Skills Experience Required:
Leading Development Teams - leading design, implementation & maintenance.
Leadership - Coaching, mentoring Developers.
Development Principles - strong knowledge.
Development - implementing Development Best Practices - improve efficiency, reliability & scalability.
Developing & Implementing Development Strategies & Processes - streamline workflows.
Lead delivery & development Continuous Improvement - Tech Stack - Amazon Web Services (Mongo, Express, React & Node), SAP ABAP Development on SAP ECC6.
Public Cloud - AWS (ideally) or similar.
CI/CD - Implementing & managing CI/CD Pipelines.
Conducting Code Reviews.
Application Roadmap - determine & maintain Short & Long-Range Application Roadmap.
Collaborating with Development, Operations & QA teams.
Managing Release Cycles.
Ideally - come from a Full Stack Development Background - experience with JavaScript, TypeScript & Node.js.
Ideally - knowledge of Python based platforms.
Third Parties - partner with external IT/Tech providers.
Security Best Practices.
Agile Methodology - planning, prioritisation, resource management etc.
Analytical & Problem-Solving skills.
Excellent Communication & Interpersonal skills.
Desirable Experience:
SAP Landscape Awareness.
CI Jenkins, GitLab & CI/CD.
Operational Technology Processes & PLCs - Programmable Logic Controllers.
Legacy Lotus Domino platforms - migration from Legacy platforms.
