Description:
Greenacre are pleased to be supporting a Housing Association in Stoke on Trent with their recruitment for a Head of Delivery and Operations on a Fixed Term Contract.
The organisation are embarking on a 2-4 year transformation plan following a comprehensive organisational review. In this role, you will play a key part in implementing the transformation initiatives, driving positive change, and shaping the future of the organisation.
What will you do in the role?
* Lead the Repairs and Maintenance Service ensuring it is cost effective and meets customer needs.
* Provide effective leadership in the delivery of the repairs, maintenance, and improvement programmes.
* Develop and achieve operational performance targets.
* Analyse current performance data, making improvements where required and identify areas for performance improvement.
* Develop and implement a strategic Workforce Plan to support the current and future delivery of repairs, maintenance, and improvements.
* Update, review and monitor business plans and budgets.
* Support the delivery of the transformation plan for the repairs, maintenance and planned works service area.
* Ensure all operational and commercial risks are identified and properly managed.
* Take ownership and responsibility for the effective handling of complaints.
* To manage and develop an effective and motivated team.
* Take responsibility for budgets in accordance with financial regulations and ensure the service demonstrates value for money.
* Pro-actively manage the health and safety of staff and customers in accordance with the Health & Safety policy and procedures.
* Develop and contribute to strategies, new initiatives, policies and procedures to meet the aims of Aspire.
Who would excel in this role?
The ideal candidate will hold a CIH qualification and possess a proven track record as a people leader with experience at Head of Service level.
