They are now seeking a dedicated and visionary Head of Data Integration and Strategy to join the leadership team.

Position Overview:

The Head of Data Integration and Strategy will be responsible for developing and executing the school's data strategy, ensuring seamless integration of data systems, and utilising data analytics to drive informed decision-making. This role will involve collaboration with various departments to enhance data literacy, optimise data management processes, and support the school's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and implement a comprehensive data strategy aligned with the school's goals and objectives.

Oversee the integration of data systems across various platforms, ensuring data consistency, accuracy, and accessibility.

Lead initiatives to improve data quality and governance, establishing clear policies and procedures.

Analyse data to provide actionable insights that inform instructional strategies, student support services, and operational improvements.

Collaborate with academic and administrative staff to identify data needs and deliver tailored solutions.

Promote data literacy across the school, offering training and support to staff to enhance their data-related skills.

Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and maintain the highest standards of data security.

Manage data projects from conception to completion, including budgeting, planning, and resource allocation.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement through regular review and refinement of data practices and strategies.

Stay abreast of emerging trends and technologies in data integration and analytics, applying relevant innovations to the school's data strategy.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Information Systems, Education, or a related field. A master’s degree is preferred.

Proven experience in data integration, data strategy development, and data management, preferably within an educational setting.

Strong understanding of data governance, data quality principles, and data protection regulations.

Proficiency in data analytics tools and software, such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.

Excellent leadership and project management skills, with a track record of successfully leading cross-functional initiatives.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability

to convey complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and effectively.

Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and build strong relationships with staff at all levels.

Experience in training and supporting staff to enhance their data literacy and technical skills.

A proactive and innovative mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement and staying current with industry trends.

Desirable Skills:

Experience with educational data systems, such as student information systems (SIS) and learning management systems (LMS).

Familiarity with data privacy laws and best practices in an educational context.

Certification in data management or analytics (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate).

Salary/Benefits:

£65,000 - £75,000 DOE and benefits package.
