Description:

Gleeson are delighted to be working with a market leading not-for-profit organisation in Birmingham in their search for a Head of Commercial to join the team.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing commercial strategies that accelerate growth and income for the company in their various partnership offerings.

You will be conducting market research and analysis to create and implement detailed business plans on commercial opportunities.

Ideally you will be working in a similar capacity within either a real estate or professional services environment.

"What will I be doing day-to-day?"

Creating and developing a commercial strategy that brings together the multiple partnership offerings into a coherent proposition.

Managing and driving partnership sales activity according to company goals and objectives aiming to accelerate growth and income.

Ensuring high standards of business development by reviewing and updating the acquisition plan of all partner categories to ensure growth by sector and region as required.

Ensuring high levels of engagement with all partners and ensuring agreed benefits are delivered consistently and to agreed quality service levels.

Collaborating with and coordinating diverse teams as necessary.

Monitoring performance of commercial activities using key metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

Working with the Finance and Commercial Director to set target and budgets for the year for the Commercial Partnerships

Leading and inspiring the team, setting clear direction and accountability, ensuring high performance, creating a culture of continuous personal development.

Proven experience as commercial director/head of commercial or other relevant role.
Proven experience in sales and/or marketing and managing relationships with key partners.
In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
Solid knowledge of performance reporting and financial/budgeting processes.

This role is paying a salary of £75-80k and will be based out of our client's offices in Birmingham city centre. You will be needed to work in the office 2 days per week.
