Head of Brand, Communications and Marketing

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Brand, Communications and Marketing, to manage and lead the Brand, Communications and Marketing team to deliver impactful communications and marketing assets that meet the needs of the charity and resonate with audiences. In this role you will also lead on exciting strategic brand partnerships, providing consultancy style project support to external stakeholders and agencies on dual-branded creative campaigns across above-the-line marketing.

Location: Agile (required to work from the London office a minimum of 2 days a week)

Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week (flexible working available)

Salary: £45,284 to £53,910 (plus £3,000 London Allowance)

Contract: Permanent

The Role

You will be joining a team that provides an account management service, managing the delivery of communication and marketing assets from conception to delivery. The first point of call for communication and marketing requests from colleagues across the charity, you will focus on supporting the work of fundraising campaigns, partnerships, programmes and workplace mental health and training teams. You will also take a lead role in delivering strategic brand partnerships with our corporate partners, further accelerating our rapidly growing brand profile.

Leading on implementing effective processes, you will manage and evolve ways of working so that the team efficiently manages competing priorities within a culture that promotes good wellbeing.

You will directly line managing the Brand, Communications and Marketing Manager, who manages the in-house designer, matrix manage the Expert by Experience (EBE) Story Coordinator with the Head of Brand, Communications and Marketing for one of the partner charities. Sharing this resource and managing workload and capacity across both charities enables your team to locate stories that convey the difference our  programmes and services make to people’s lives.

About You

I have the essentials covered:

I have extensive experience across the communications and marketing mix, including in the delivery of charity communications and marketing assets/campaigns.
I have proven success in brand management for a charitable or membership organisation.
I have experience of leading and developing staff, setting and reviewing SMART objectives to build high performing teams.
I have proven experience of strategic thinking and ability to deliver programmes of work that underpin organisational objectives.
I have experience of budget and project management, including budgets, suppliers and people.
I have experience of evaluating projects and producing reports or presentations that evidence impact.
