Job title: Head of Bid Management (2 year FTC)

Location: London (hybrid working)

Salary: Circa £65k - £80k (negotiable) plus bonus, travel, pension and healthcare package

About the company:

• Our client is a well regarded private sector transport operator.

• They’re a small close-knit team and with a culture promoting autonomy and flexibility.

Overview of role:

• This role is a Senior Bid Project Management role that would manage the processes around bidding to include project plan, budget, governance, risks, issues log, liaising with the clients and shareholders and getting relevant approvals in place.

Responsibilities:

• To manage the bid opportunities within core bus and rail business

• Identify resources required for delivering the winning bid strategy and support recruiting for those resources

• Identify and manage a bid project plan

• Identify and manage a bid budget including mobilisation phases

• Manage client, stakeholder and shareholder relationships

• Manage governance steps including Go/No Go, steering group meetings, bid approvals and sign off

• Manage Teams/SharePoint sites

• Manage a RAID log

• Ensure bids are delivered on time and on budget and submitted compliant with the procurement requirements

• Conduct a lessons learned exercise after each bid, gathering key information and producing a report
