Head of Academy Operations & Development
South Wales
£48,000 - £55,000 DOE
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a newly established training and workforce development organisation with ambitious plans to support the care sector across Wales.
We're looking for a commercially minded and driven Head of Academy Operations & Development to lead the launch, development and growth of a brand-new Academy. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll take ownership of operations, training delivery, systems, stakeholder relationships, quality and business growth.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the day-to-day operation of the Academy
Oversee the rollout and development of training programmes
Manage trainers and external learning partners
Implement and develop systems and a Learning Management System (LMS)
Build relationships with employers and industry stakeholders
Drive commercial growth and business development opportunities
Maintain high quality standards and learner outcomes
Develop strategic partnerships across the sector
About You
Experience in training, learning & development, workforce development or education
Strong operational leadership skills
Commercially aware with a growth-focused mindset
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
Able to work autonomously and take ownership
Experience within health and social care would be advantageous but is not essential.
Registered Manager experience is not required.
Salary: £48,000 - £55,000 DOE
