Job Overview

Duties
Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards
Assist in the organisation and maintenance of the kitchen area, ensuring cleanliness and hygiene at all times
Follow food safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment
Support the team with meal preparation during busy service periods
Ensure all food is presented attractively and served promptly to customers or staff
Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation and ordering supplies as needed
Maintain equipment in good working order, reporting any faults or issues promptly
Experience
Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles is desirable
Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a culinary environment
Previous restaurant experience or serving background is advantageous but not essential
Knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is preferred
Ability to work efficiently under pressure during peak hours
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail in food presentation and hygiene standards
