Head Chef / Kitchen Manager - Busy Pub Restaurant with Rooms - Bridport, Dorset - £34K + overtime pay - Very Short Term Live-in
We're looking for an experienced chef to take the leading role in this busy seasonal pub restaurant/hotel.
You will manage the kitchen and lead the team to produce quality, British, seasonal fresh food in a fulfilling environment. As the successful Head Chef, you will have experience working in a similar environment and demonstrate skills to lead the team to deliver outstanding fresh food. Your main roles will be managing the kitchen, looking after administration, health and hygiene ensuring the smooth running of the kitchen

Responsible for recruiting, training & developing the kitchen team
Responsible for completing all required kitchen paperwork & maintaining a 5-star food hygiene rating
In-charge of ordering & negotiating with suppliers
Accountable for costing dishes to achieve agreed GP
In-charge of producing recipe cards for all dishes & allergen folders
Tasked to create a deep cleaning schedule for the kitchen
Responsible for Implementing new menus & creating daily specials
£34,000 annual salary based on contracted 40 hours per week, overtime is paid at £16.50 per hour. Temporary accommodation is available to assist with relocation.
