As Head Chef, you'll lead the catering operation and create a welcoming dining experience for residents. You'll:
Lead, train, and support the catering team
Manage rotas, food ordering, stock control, and waste
Deliver nutritious meals while managing allergies and dietary needs
Maintain high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety
Build relationships with residents and support their dining experiences
Ensure compliance with food safety, COSHH and cross-infection proceduresWhat we're looking for
You'll be a confident, organised kitchen professional with:
Experience in a similar catering environment, ideally within care
Strong communication and team leadership skills
An NVQ Level 3 in Food Preparation and Cooking, or a willingness to achieve it
Good IT skills and the ability to learn new systems
Flexibility to work a rota that includes weekends
