We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Head Chef / Kitchen Manager for our client’s hotel near Hassocks, BN1.

Our client’s hotel uses locally sourced, freshly prepared food, providing fine dining.

Our client is offering a competitive salary for the right candidate.

Your role as a Head Chef / Kitchen Manager:

* The day-to-day management of the kitchen

* Motivating yourself and your brigade

* Ensuring food is to an exacting standard

* Training staff and managing your team

* Stock control and ordering

* Staff rotas

* Creating the seasonal specials

* Adhere to company standards and procedures

* Ensure Health & Safety and COSHH laws are observed

The successful Head Chef / Kitchen Manager will have:

* At least 2 years as a Head Chef or Kitchen Manager

* A background in a hotel or pub kitchen

* Creative talent with fresh ingredients

* Excellent technical skill

* Ability to work under pressure

* A great personality

* Own transport is vital for this role.
