Responsibilities in your new role as Head Chef
* Supervising and developing a skilled team of chefs and kitchen porters
* Managing daily kitchen operations to ensure seamless service, particularly during busy periods
* Implementing effective stock control measures and liaising with suppliers to ensure optimal inventory levels
* Enforcing cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen
* Upholding rigorous food handling protocols and strict adherence to food safety regulations at all times
Your personality, experience and qualifications
The ideal candidate should have prior experience as a Head Chef, preferably in a hotel setting, demonstrating the capability to lead and supervise a catering team efficiently. Strong communication skills are essential, enabling effective interaction with staff at all levels. Experience in managing high-volume venues while maintaining exceptional quality and service standards is crucial. In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices is required. The successful candidate will exhibit a genuine passion for food, possess keen attention to detail, and be adept at motivating their team to consistently achieve outstanding results.
