Description:

To be responsible for:

i) Ensuring that the standard and quality of the food production and the hygiene within the PDC is maintained at the highest level at all times.

ii) Management, supervision and induction of all PDC cafe staff including trainees

iii) Promotion of PDC café facilities within Royal Greenwich and wider

iv) Creating menus and recipes that ensure a good variety and quality

v) Overseeing and monitoring of appropriate stock taking

vi) Provision of hospitality services to staff, visitors and to meet the needs of conferences and events

vii) Undertaking supplier reviews to ensure consistent quality of products within budget

viii) Actively promoting and adhering to the Greener Greenwich Strategy

ix) Maintenance of equipment
