Role: Head Chef
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
Hours: Full time (12-9pm straight shifts)
Location: Cardiff
We're working with one of Cardiff’s most well-known and long standing establishments who are going through some planned expansion to their Restaurant group, and we need a highly motivated professional to join them! Our client is looking for a dynamic Head Chef to lead a thriving kitchen to deliver a 5* dining experience for their customers.

As a Head Chef you will:
* Lead and manage a team of chefs and kitchen staff, providing guidance, training, and support
* Plan and develop menus
* Oversee food preparation and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards
* Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain efficient kitchen operations
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in the kitchen
* Collaborate with restaurant management to develop new recipes and seasonal specials
* Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
* Manage food costs by minimizing waste and implementing cost-saving measures
Experience:
* Proven experience working as a Head Chef or Sous Chef
* Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, flavours, and presentation
* Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail
* Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with staff and management
