Harvesting Manager
Location: Howden
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 5 Days over 7 (flexible start and finish times)
We are recruiting for a Harvesting Manager to join our client’s team in Howden. This is an excellent opportunity to join a family-owned business with excellent progression opportunities.
You will be reporting to the operations director, ideally you will have experience from a fresh food or agricultural background.
Main Duties:
* Asses the crop daily and ensure the correct manning and plans are in place.
* Attend daily ops meetings
* Ensure all products meet the quantity and quality targets
* Checking recommended wights and sizing guidelines
* Making sure all customer orders are met to tight deadlines
* Supervise the team making sure all targets are met
Key Skills:
* Previous experience at supervisory level in fresh food/agricultural
* Excellent communication skills
* People management skills
* Advanced food hygiene qualifications
* Organisational skills
