Job Title: Nursery Assistant

Location: Harrogate, North Yorkshire

Hours: Full-time, hours between 8:00 am to 6:00 pm

Salary: Up to £13.00 per hour, dependent on experience and qualifications

Are you passionate about early childhood education and looking for a rewarding role in a nurturing environment? We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Assistants to join independent nursery settings across Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the nursery team in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years.
Assist in creating a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment.
Engage children in age-appropriate activities that promote their physical, cognitive, and social-emotional development.
Maintain a positive and respectful relationship with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure compliance with nursery policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.Requirements:

Experience working in a nursery setting is preferred.
Level 3 Early Years qualification is preferred but not essential.
Knowledge of child development principles and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently when necessary.
Passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.Benefits:
