Description:
Hardware and Digital Design Engineer
Project tasks:
Supporting the development of several pre-production systems for engine control and enhanced vibration testing.
Development of system kit schematics including PCBs, enclosure(s), cabling, and transport case.
Design work associated with vibration and temperature sensors.
Development of prototype circuits.
Mechanical design for mounting sensors.
Recording and documenting design decisionsSkills required:
Hardware: Practical skills necessary to design, fabricate, integrate, bring-up and test hardware systems, in low volumes, baseband/low frequency low noise analogue design.
Digital Circuit Design: Design, simulation, and test of digital circuits including microprocessors, SoCs, FPGAs, DSPs, high speed memory, serial interfaces, glue logic and power management functions
