ROLE: Handyman
LOCATION: West London, W10
PAY RATE: £20 to £22 Hourly under CIS

CONTRACT: Contract 6 Months
HOURS: 37 Hours per Week

THE ROLE:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join the team on a temporary contract. The successful candidate will carry out a variety of maintenance and repair tasks across occupied and void properties, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. The role involves working with battery-operated tools and undertaking a range of general trade duties.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Carry out general maintenance and repair works across residential and commercial properties.
Complete basic carpentry, masonry, and painting tasks.
Use battery-operated tools safely and effectively.
Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment.
Report defects, completed works, and any issues to site management.
Work collaboratively with site teams and follow project schedules.
Adhere to company policies and client procedures at all times.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Valid CSCS Card (appropriate to the work being undertaken)
Manual Handling Certificate
Working at Height Certificate
Asbestos Awareness Certificate (UKATA Accredited)
Face Fit Test Certificate
Experience carrying out general multi-trade maintenance works
Ability to safely use battery-operated tools

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

Previous experience working on social housing or property maintenance contracts.
Experience working within occupied properties.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time management skills.
